In January 2023, MeBIC merged into the American Business Immigration Coalition (ABIC) and became its Maine state chapter. ABIC, an IRS §501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation with state chapters throughout the U.S., works with business, higher education and other community leaders to achieve common-sense federal immigration reforms and state and local policies that advance immigrants’ ability to reach their full potential, for the benefit of our communities, our workforce, and our economy.
