COVID-19: Release of Additional H-2B Visas for FY 2020 On Hold Indefinitely

The Department of Homeland Security announced via the following Tweet that the 35,000 H-2B visas authorized by Congress to bolster the 33,000 available for seasonal non-agricultural positions starting during the second half of FY 2020 (April 1-September 30) will not be released until further notice due to the economic impact of COVID-19.
